Strategic Influence
How should a modern leader, manager, expert, or teacher use their influence in today's world? How can a coaching and facilitative approach be developed by using one's own expression consciously as a tool for empowering others, increasing inclusion, recognizing and mobilizing strengths, and strengthening a sense of agency and competence?
This training is suitable for leaders, managers, experts, trainers, facilitators, helpers, and anyone who wants to make their expression and behavior a conscious and proactive tool for reinforcing a coaching and empowering work approach.
Recognize and use your power wisely
What are the outcomes?
In this eye-opening and empowering training you will:
- learn to consciously regulate your behavior to flatten hierarchical relationships when necessary.
- recognize your influence as both a giver and receiver of space in all communication situations.
- gain tools to strengthen your coaching and facilitating work approach.
- increase your understanding of different layers of individual influence, including rank, confidence, social currencies, resources and strengths, and status behavior.
- acquire action models for functioning in low-hierarchy organizations and supporting self-management.
- provide a brief overview of the power structures in organizations and society from the perspectives of equality, inclusion, intersectionality, and multiculturalism.
- We will combine concrete tools for status expression with coaching leadership, shared expertise, strength-based approaches, and the reinforcement of self-directed agency.

About the content
Teacher/student, leader/employee, and expert/client relationships are hierarchical power dynamics based on different status positions (Rank). The next question is whether behavior (Status Behavior) reinforces this hierarchical difference, or if it mitigates it, even sometimes turning it upside down, enabling the student/employee/client to recognize and mobilize their strengths (Currencies) and boost their efficacy and agency (Confidence).
Participants will gain understanding and tools for proactive and conscious behavioral change. First we become aware of our actual behaviours, then we can align it more with our intentions and values and make more conscious choices with our behaviour - and harness it as a strategic influencing tool.
